Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad (VSSP), Bangladesh, celebrated the 160 th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on 12 January 2023, Thursday, at University of Dhaka.
The program included several events viz. the prayer for universal peace and harmony; discourse on ‘Swami Vivekananda’ is more relevant in the present world perspective’; distribution of educational materials and Vivekananda Scholarship among the poor and meritorious students;
unveiling of Annual Magazine ‘Jnanadeep’, performance of the musical program ‘Vivekananda
Sangitanjali’, etc. The Head of Dhaka center was invited there as the Guest of Honour to attend the discussion meeting along with other monastic inmates of the Center. Among many
dignitaries Mr. Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury MP, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Shipping,
Government of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh was present on that meeting.
