The 170th Birthday of Sri Sri Sarada Devi has been celebrated at Ramakrishna Math, Dhaka with due solemnity and spiritual fervour on 15 December 2022. First session of the day began with Mangal Aratri at the early morning, which was followed by special Puja, Homa, Vedic chanting, devotional songs, Pushpanjali, reading and talks on the life and message of the Holy Mother and Prasad distribution.
Second session of the Program included discussion on the subject `Sri Sri Ma Sarada Devi: A unique bridge between Home and the World’ which started after the evening prayer. Head of the Centre presided over the meeting where the guest speakers were Professor Shikha Chakraborty, Project Director(SRSCPS), Hindu Religious Welfare Trust, Dhaka and Dr. Mayna Talukder, Professor and Chairman, Sanskrit Department, University of Dhaka. The welcome address was given by Swami Shantikarananda, Assistant Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka and Swami Haripremananda, Assistant Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka offered the vote of thanks.
Total 2,400 devotees took cooked prasad on the occasion.
