Inaugural ceremony of the newly built Ramakrishna Mission High School Building at Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka

It is our great pleasure to inform you that on the occasion of the 125th  Anniversary of
Ramakrishna Mission, the newly built  High School Building entirely financed by the
Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has been ceremonially inaugurated at
Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka on 20 January 2023.

The Building was inaugurated by Dr. Dipu Moni M.P., Hon’ble Education Minister of the Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and the chief guest of the event. She took part in the discussion meeting in our newly built Auditorium (Swami Aksharananda Milanayatan) right after the unveiling of plaque. There, Heroic Freedom Fighter Mr. Kazi Firoz Rashid, Hon’ble M.P., Dhaka-06, Bangladesh National Parliament and Former Minister of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was the special guest. Md. Riaz Uddin (Riaz), eminent social personality and president, Governing Body, Sher-E Bangla Girls’ college, Dhaka; Engr. Md. Delowar Hossain Mazumder, Chief Engineer, Directorate of Education Engineering, Dhaka participated in the meeting as the Guests of Honour. Adhyaksha and Secretary of Dhaka center presided over the discussion. Swami Shantikarananda, Assistant Secretary of the Center delivered the welcome Address at the beginning and Swami Haripremananda offered the vote of thanks to conclude the session. That time the whole gallery of the Auditorium was full of devotees, guests, monks, students and guardians and no seat was empty. Thereafter, a cultural program consisting of dances, recitation of poem and drama was performed by the students of ‘Sarada Shishu Niketan’ nursery school and the `Higher Secondary School’. Next cultural program was held after the evening prayer which comprised songs, dances and drama by the eminent male-artists of India and Bangladesh.

Total 1500 food packets were distributed among the students, guardians, devotees and
guests.
