On the occasions of celebrating the Golden Jubilee (fifty years) of the Independence of Bangladesh, and commemorating at the same time the hundred years of the birth of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi arrived at Dhaka on 26 March 2021 on a two-day visit to join the program at the invitation of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
On the first day of his arrival, he met the representatives of the Hindu Religious people of the country at Hotel Sonargaon at Dhaka at the initiative of the High Commission of India in Bangladesh. Swami Purnatmananda, Head of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka, was invited as a special guest.
