‘Vivekananda Shiksha o Sanskriti Parishad’, Bangladesh, with the assistance of Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka, celebrated the birthday of Swami Vivekananda on 12 January 2024 at `Swami Aksharananda Milanayatan’ of Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka. The program featured with the parade of the students of Ramakrishna Mission High School, Dhaka, followed by the discussion meeting about Swami Vivekananda.
Srimat Swami Purnatmanandaji Maharaj, Head of Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka, and the President of ‘Vivekananda Shiksha O Sanskriti Parishad, Bangladesh’ Adhoc committee, presided over the meeting, where Justice Mr. Soumendra Sarker, Bangladesh Supreme Court and President of the Managing Committee of Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka, as well as the Convenor of ‘Vivekananda Shiksha O Sanskriti Parishad, Bangladesh’ Adhoc committee, spoke briefly on the subject. Before his speech, Sri Prashanta Chakraborty, a student of Ramakrishna Mission High School and Sri Sudipta Paul, another student of ‘Vivekananda Vidyarthi Bhavan’, spoke on Swami Vivekananda based on their own understanding. The entire auditorium was filled with youth guests. On this occasion, opening and closing song were performed by Swami Punyadananda Maharaj.
Approximately 800 youths from various educational institutes of Dhaka city took part in making the program a success.
