Sri Sri Saraswati Puja was celebrated at Ramakrishna Math, Dhaka, on 23 January, 2026, Friday, in the usual manner as in previous years. Puja began at 7:00 a.m. following the ceremony of the beginning of study (Hatekhadi) at 9: 00 a.m.
A total of 90 kids were acquainted with Hatekhadi this year. Pushpanjali for the first batch of devotees was held at 10:00 a.m. As the presence of devotees was large, we arranged Pushpanjali for three (03) more batches on that day. Homa (Sacrificial (sacrificial fire) took place at 12:00 a.m.
Finally, Prasad was distributed among the devotees at 12:00 noon.
The next day, January 24, 2026, Saturday, puja started in the morning at 7:30 a.m. followed by pushpanjali 9:30 a.m.. Immersion of the image in the mirror was held at 10:30 a.m. and finally, immersion took place in the pond of Ashrama after the evening prayer.
Total 7,000 devotees were served with cooked prasad in two (02) days.
