In recognition of the value of studying foreign languages, Language learning Centre was
inaugurated at Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka, on 7 December 2025 by Srimat Swami
Purnatmanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha and Secretary of the Centre, in the presence of
students, language teachers, devotees, monks and brahmacharins.
The monks and brahmacharins chanted the Vedic mantra during the inauguration.
It has been decided that initially, among various languages, Sanskrit and spoken
English will be offered to the students. As the students’ interest grows, other foreign
languages will be introduced gradually.
