Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad (VSSP), Bangladesh, obeserved its 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 16 May 2025 in the Swami Aksharananda Milanayatan of Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka, in a befitting manner.
Srimat Swami Purnatmanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha and Secretary of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka and the Chief advisor and the Chief Coordinator of Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad, Bangladesh, presided over the meeting, where Sri Subal Chandra Saha, Vice President of the Managing Committee of Ramakrishna Mission, Dhaka and advisor of Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad, Bangladesh and Sri Devashish Paul, Provost, Jagannath Hall, University of Dhaka were the hon’ble special guests in the meeting. In the discussion meeting, the Guests of Honor were Swami Vedamayanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Ashrama and Mission, Habiganj; Swami Vibhatmanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Ashrama and Mission, Dinajpur; Swami Gurusevanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha , Ramakrishna Ashrama and Mission, Bagerhat; Swami Ekanathanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Ashrama and Mission, Narayanganj; Swami Suravaranandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Ashrama and Mission, Faridpur; Swami Sthiratmanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Ashrama and Mission, Chandpur; Swami Santatanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Ashrama and Mission, Mymensingh; Swami Vijitatmanandaji, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Ashrama and Mission, Barishal.
Program began with offering flowers by the guests on the holy feet of Swamiji following Vedic chanting by the students of Vivekananda Vidyarthi Bhaban, Dhaka and members of Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad, Bangladesh. Opening song was rendered by Swami Punyadananda Maharaj, Advisor, Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad, Bangladesh. It was followed by the welcome address of Dr. Pritam Nag, Vice-President, Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad, Bangladesh. After his speech, Dr. Sukanta Roy, General Secretary, Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad presented the Annual report of the service activities of the Organization. After his speech, the Honorable guest monks delivered their lectures on the topic: ‘Future working plan of Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad’. After that, Sri Ashutosh Bhattacharjee, Treasurer of Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad, rendered the Annual Financial Statement of the Organization. As it was a prolong prongram, we served light tiffin to the audience of the program while Annual Financial Statement was presenting. Thereafter, Sri Devashish Paul and Sri Subal Chandra Saha, special guests of the program delivered their special talks which was followed by the benedictory address of Srimat Swami Purnatmanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha and Secretary of Ramakrishna Math and Mission and the Chief Adviosr and the Chief Coordinator of Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad, Bangladesh. Engr. Ashutosh Roy, President of Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad, Bangladesh offered the vote of gratitude to conclude the program. After the presidential address, concluding song was sung by Swami Punyadananda Maharaj, Advisor, Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad, Bangladesh.
Out of total 75 branches of VSSP (Vivekananda Shiksha O Sangskriti Parishad), total 400 delegates from 56 branches attended the program, whereas the remaining members of the rest of branches enjoyed the program as it was livestreamed.
Everything ended peacefully.
